SARDINIA SUMMER
The Sardinians will tell you, with great kindness but equal force, that they are NOT Italian. They are in fact an older people then the Italians, with some of the longest living people on earth. And after spending a week there, I can perfectly see why.
There is a purity in Sardinia that gets otherwise lost in the tourist-laden streets of Venice or Rome. Here, the sun wakes you gently, and puts you to bed with a magnificent show. The island has a smell like nothing else on earth; salty, fresh, floral, and earthy - all wrapped into one beautiful sensory immersion.
Days are spent taking boats from cove to cove; snorkeling, fishing, reading, and making the best seafood you could imagine.
