Sometimes you need to escape your daily routine for some magic. And what better way to transport yourself than to an Ancient Greek inspired palace along the coastline of Malibu? As the season has finally turned to fall, the crisp air spoke with limitless possibilities of adventure. We made our way from Venice to the Getty Villa, a Grecian estate owned by J. Paul Getty, the famous art collector. Making our way through the olive tree groves, the dappled lime stone walls called for us to explore deeper inside. The lili pond was in full bloom, harboring its lacy tailed koi fish in its rainbow depths. The feeling of the past was heavy in the air, wrapping us up like a grecian blanket, warm and full of promise. From ancient stone statues to mosaics to the most stunning emerald and gold jewelry, we were back in a time and place of undiscovered and magic.
